I hear they don't pay salaries to doctors as and when due..
They owe you 3 to 4 months before paying 1..so some stay just to earn their backlogs and when they get tired, they angrily leave..
So many have left the hospital because of this devilish style.
The last person you should owe is a Doctor, your cook and your driver.
Imagine a Doctor's salary for 4 months not paid and yet they attend to sick people, purely disastrous.

And I always thought the "EKO" was because it was based in lagos (EKO).

Same here. However, the full meaning is written on the wall. You'll see it if you when passing

Thank God for saving her life.
This hmo stuff, is it really effective? Kindly advice on how much you pay and what it covers. Thanks.

It is the company I used to work for then that pay. Usually you have list of hospitals you can pick from and these hospitals have what they can cover and some refer you to specialists for others depeding on the premium paid by your company. I think if you work in a big organisation, the HMO service is impressive, since they will not want to loose customers and if your company pays promotly. In my company, we have had to change providers several times because of feed back from staff. All in all I believe health insurance is still the BEST for people.

Yeah, but through superior service. What they offer now is way below the Eko Hospital standard.

Good point
