The Times Higher Education, THE World University Rankings 2022 have been released!

A record over 1600 universities globally made the list, with Oxford University retaining its top position from the previous year.

Seven (7) Nigerian universities were listed, with Six (6) getting ranked and the University of Ibadan retaining its apex spot from the previous year.

2nd - UNILAG

3rd - Covenant_University

The only newcomer from Nigeria is Unilorin ranking 4th, ahead of UNN and OAU which come in at 5th & 6th, respectively.

Lagos State University, LASU was listed, but unfortunately didn't get a rank, despite being ranked 2nd last year. The school however managed to get a reporter status, reserved for universities which despite submitting data for the ranking, failed to meet the eligibility criteria to get a rank.
