This article lacks sense I must say. So he couldn't quote Ahmadu Bello when he said the South will be a conquered territory of the north.

I disagree with some of the postulations made by the writer. Ethnic agenda and fears of domination are real in Nigeria, even in the days of the nation's 'forbears'. If there was no such agenda, why did the North opposed the motion for Independence which Anthony Enahoro moved in 1953?

Thats more reason we need resources control.
With that, region will be less concerned about who heads the federal government, but put more attention on one of their own who leads regional or state government, to whom the resources of the region or state are entrusted in his care.

That will not only bring cohession but competition among the federating states and by extension Nigeria.

SO An Igbo person wrote this intentional rubbish. Only an Igbos can write this for money, aside the Fulani who are the real terror of other tribes.
.
What can't Igbos do for money? It's shameful, despite what The Igbo tribe went through in the hands of the Fulanis during civil war ..so an Igbo person will write this with conscience that there's no ethnic or religious agenda by any tribe in Nigeria...same Igbo who are the most persecuted of all tribes in Nigeria?
..
But igbos are always quick to point fingers at other tribes for hate and jealous..I wonder what they will do to this writer, their kinsman, who openly deny their pain, reality, aspiration and existential fear as mere propaganda and outrightly baseless...
.
Igbos, in your struggles for Biafra and autonomy, deal with the rats amongst u..before pointing fingers at other tribes for sabotage . Thank you.

A house negro can come from any ethnic nationality. He is the outlier not the norms.

Look at you! Middlebelters are North on political equation. But does core North reckon with them in the scheme of things.
They are gradually being decimated. Does North care for them? Apart from Fulani's and Shuwa Arabs, who cares about Middlebelt North is not one!

writer thinking himself intelligent.

How does lack of success of ethnic agenda translate to the non-existence of any ethnic agenda

It is an agenda... A plan in motion
Whether it succeeds or not depends on several factors

But to use "can igbos say they've been hegemonised" as point to his submission that ethnic agendas are myths is not intelligent.

Nobody said hegemonising other ethnicities would be easy. The fulani have been on it since the 70s

So If we don't trust each other why not let each region handle their security and control their resources

Is it not hypocrisy that u still support Nigeria as it is knowing fully well we don't trust each other why not address that fear

2) it's only a fool who would say there is no fulani agenda honestly ...we saw it happen in central Africa republic before the indiginous tribe took back their country

Why are people pretending Fulani agenda isn't known or it hasn't happened before ? ...if that's not hypocrisy I don't know what it is
if each region is allowed to control their resources and run their security I bet you people will still complain of marginalization and that may be worse than what we have at federal level. Seriously we don’t know our problem yet. Cos if we do, by now we would have solved it. now we want another leader come 2023, wait and see how people will cook up stories about the new president come 2023and sell to the people

Believe this and you believe anything. Call it Interest ooo, call it agenda ooh, position ooo they are all the same and all the political parties, ethnic groups, race, individuals, groups and stakeholders in this country and anywhere else in the world have theirs. A human is created to have his interest at heart so there must be agendas QED. The question should be What is your agendas? Are they good or evil? Is your agenda in the initiation stage, the planning stage or the execution stage? Nwabufor please stop already. What is happening now in Nigeria was predicted years ago and is unfolding before our very eyes. Is not by accident. It's very dangerous not to have your own agenda with the current situation of Nigeria and that's one problem the South have.

IF FULANIS ARE NIGERIANS, WHERE IS THEIR ANCESTRAL LAND?

WHY ARE THEY KILLING, MAIMING AND SEIZING LANDS FROM OTHER INDIGENOUS NIGERIANS?

AND WHY IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT UNDER PRESIDENT BUHARI HELPING THE FULANIS TO GRAB LANDS IN ALL PARTS OF NIGERIA?
