JOB RECRUITMENT FOR AUDIT OFFICER

Rasmed Publications Limited, an award-winning leader in the publishing industry of Nigerian Educational sector with Corporate Head office located in Ibadan is recruiting candidate with strong attention to details and thorough understanding of the general audit procedures in the publishing industry to fill the position below:

Job Title: Audit Officer (Ibadan)

Job Description:
 The successful candidate shall join the audit team to ensure that all members of staff and management are in conformance to the company quality control system and high work standards to ensure that all activities meet or exceed all business goals.

 The successful candidate shall perform and manage the full audit cycle including risk management for overall operational effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and government regulations.

 The successful candidate shall obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, existing data, flowcharts etc. Effective monitoring, verification and authorization of all raw materials supplied and all operational budget approval memos.

 The successful candidate shall identify financial loopholes, recommend cost savings strategies, risk aversion measures and business loan performance.
 The successful candidate shall schedule and conduct internal quality assurance & compliance, audit warehouse and sales representatives’ operations, company’s asset, payroll, and ensure standards are being followed at regular intervals.

 The successful candidate shall assist in investigations of external and internal non-conformances and prepare investigation reports for management.
 The successful candidate shall provide professional support for accounts unit as may be required, as well as any other task that may be delegated by the departmental Head.

Job requirements:
• HND or First Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
• Applicant must have at least 2 years audit experience in a structured organization, preferably a publishing industry.
• Applicant must be proficient in advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database management.
• Applicant must have excellent analytical, reporting and people management skills.
• Applicant must between the age range of 28 to 35 years.
