It makes no logical sense for Tinubu to contest for president in 2023. If Buhari had a great track record, he could have used that as a booster but with the current situation, the best thing is to support someone charming and respectable by all Nigerians.

If Tinubu wanted to contest, any bad thing about Buhari or weaknesses is surely to bite him in the ass. Buhari's disastarous record is a direct reflection on Tinubu as well hence it is time for a clean slate. Unfortunately this also disqualifies Osibanjo and any of Buhari's cabinet members.

None of them can campaign based on:

1. Economy
2. Infrastructure
3. Security
4. Human Rights
5. Eliminating Corruption

Only one option here.....RIG RIG RIG!

They know they have no chance and that is why they are trying blackmail. Who dash Igbo man for APC or PDP primaries?

Igbo ambition cannot even go beyond the horsetrading that will go on during the primaries of the two main political Parties.
The funny thing is that, this was the way they kept saying GMB will never rule in 2015 and 2019.

Any smart person will know the APC have the advantage as things stand going into the 2023 presidential election.

If Atiku is to choose where to contest between APC and PDP, he is going to choose to contest under APC.

Well stated. It’s obvious that if the SW supports Igbo to succeed PMB, power shall shift to the south in 2023.
In 1999, Igbo supported two Yorubas being on the presidential slots of the two largest political parties then; all because it was obvious that Yoruba deserved to preside over Nigeria then.
Alex Ekwueme who formed PDP with the G33 group made a feeble attempt to contest presidential election then, but most of the Igbos knew it was the turn of the Yoruba.

Liar!!! grin

Whoever told you that story is also a pathetic liar! cheesy

You Igbos have any shame at all? Where is your "aboki will never rule Nigeria" noise you made in 2014-2015 when your 'champion' , GEJ, was in Aso Rock?

Buhari has insulted you lot directly twice about your insignificance with 5% and "dot in a circle" quip yet una no dey learn.

Yoruba leaders played their cards right and it is their turn.

Next time focus on your own leaders and tell them to play bridge-building politics and maybe you lot would have a chance in 2065. lol.

so yorubas are planing for a yoruba person to take the southern slot come 2023?

Okoo, we are watching. If we are saying power should return to south from north on the basis of equity and fairness, is it not also proper we take it to the zones that have been least represented?

Obviously southern unity is a slogan being used by some people to achieve their selfish plan, This will only perpetuate power in the north.
Same thing I keep wondering, I wonder d conscience of people, after been president for 8 years and VP 4 8 years u still want another 8 years meanwhile the SE haven't seen 1 year, nawaooo

Of course but we all know Igbos only do politics of hate and never politics of reality. Even their own PDP politicians are defecting or planning to defect to the APC. By 2022 PDP will be a skeleton.

APC will win the 2023 election by a landslide and the Party is not interested in Igbo flag bearer. Yet Igbos keep making empty threats and blackmailing others comically.
