But when sane minds ask for the restructuring that will enable State governments establish and control their own security institutions exclusively, they will oppose it out of sentiment.

Educational disadvantaged on the increase.

The closer of the junior boarding secondary schools has nothing to do with insecurity; it is about the inability of the state government to continue carrying the burden of feeding the students. If it is about insecurity why did the state government not close senior boarding secondary schools? It is just a cost cutting measure but the government has just found a convenient excuse in the insecurity situation in the country.
It is the same government that canceled a whole term after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
As of now the government has failed to conduct the BECE exam for the JS 3 which means that there would be no students to admit into SS 1 for the incoming academic season.
