This bill is pure wickedness directed against the North. The FG should be responsible for the collection of VAT and then distribute it to various state according to populations and no of LGA. The south should know that all lands belongs to God. If the SW follow the step and position of other southern states as regards the vat and open grazing then They should kiss goodbye to presidency come 2023.

All lands belong to God, then let God come and collect the tax na. Foolish Ab0ki.

Before 2023, the South will cut you to size. By 2023, if you don't surrender Presidency to the South, the south will cut you off finally. Carry the Presidency and rule your 19 Northern states, we in the South will rule ourselves. You have nothing to bargain with, you are useless to the South.

By the way, If anti grazing bill is against the North, why is it that the first state to pass it was a Northern state?

All past Lagos governors from Tinubu to Sanwoolu and this useless Obasa should hide their heads in shame. Lagos stands to benefit the most from this tax judgment, but to think that Lagos has never deemed it fit to test this useless tax law and it took the guts of Rivers state before they wake up calls for concern.
Sometimes I think we southwesterners are just educated for nothing.

The southwest Nigeria people are sometimes confused on what to do with the northern Nigeria people. But the Fulani people are never confused about their wicked desires.b

I think this vat case will bring some semblance of sense to the northern Nigeria people.

You are wrong.

Lagos state was the first to challenge VAT in court in 2014

The Supreme Court knocked out the case on technical ground that the federal high court should be the first to decide the case rather than state vs federal dispute that goes to Supreme Court direct. The merits of the case were never considered by the Supreme Court

Since the Federal High Court has decided this, no wonder its FIRS and the North has been crying.

VAT was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for Sales tax. Let the FIRS forget collecting VAT and let them face Companies Income Tax and other taxes.

Read the constitution, it is written that VAT is the prerogative of the State governments. I wonder how the Supreme Court will try to handle this case, will they rule against the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

If you work in FIRS, start working on your plan B ooooooo

This comment reeks of ignorance. It seems you have forgotten what happened in Imo State - how the kangaroo Supreme Court made a man who finished fourth the winner of a gubernatorial election.

Just pray that Buhari and his people don't hijack the Supreme Court because every SC justice has a cockroach in their closet. With that, it's easy to manipulate them.

No one is interested in presidency, this will help collapse the country into regions, and everyone will grow at their pace

You are a liar. The constitution did not say land belongs to God. The Nigerian constitution give the authority on land to state governments via the Land Use Act
A federal structure mandates the states to collect VAT, but as mad people, Nigerians have permitted the misnomer of FIRS collecting VAT for so long.
The North is the parasite that has feasted on the South for so long.
Why don't you argue that UTME's educationally disadvantaged states is unfair?why not say practicing Sharia in a secular state is wrong? Why not say allowing underaged to vote in the North is wrong? Why not say not carrying out Census is lwrong & allowing Census done based on technology / preventing counting foreigners, cows & furniture as Nigerians in the North is the right thing?
If Nigeria practiced true federalism, who gives a f*co about presidency? Everyone will be too busy developing their states & regions. But the parasites don't want that!
