The court also ordered that Adedapo Quadri, who was reportedly discovered in possession of Ataga’s iPhone 7, be tried for murder, and Chioma Egbuchu, who was allegedly found in possession of Ataga’s iPhone 7, be tried for possession of stolen property.

Following legal advice from the state Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs Olayinka Adeyemi, the Chief Magistrate, Mrs Adeola Adedayo, issued the order.

According to the legal advise dated August 20, Miss Ojukwu and her accused accomplice, Quadri, are suspected of committing at least six crimes.

“After careful consideration of facts available in the case file, this office is of the firm view that a prima facie case of conspiring to murder, murder, conspiracy to commit felony to wit: forgery, and making documents without authority exists against Chidinma Ojukwu and Adedapo,” the DPP said.CONTINUE READING
