If the detained lady is not the actual culprit, then the real criminal that stole the missing items will be somewhere relaxing and enjoying while the wrong suspect is languishing.

Objectively, and sentiments aside, the DPO may not be sure it's the accused that stole the missing items but may be accusing her because she is the softest Target to accuse of the missing item(s).

Let's pick the holes in the averrement of the police man:

*If the lady he had been enjoying with had criminal tendency, the officer would have known.

*If the officer perceived the criminal inclinations of the lady, he would have not lost guard at all. But would have treated her with uttermost carefulness.

***MOST IMPORTANTLY, IF THE LADY ACTUALLY STOLE THE PISTOL AND #50K AS CLAIMED BY THE OFFICER, WOULD SHE HAD ANSWERED HIS CALL AND COME TO MEET HIM DAYS LATER WHEN HE CALLED HER?

A CRIMINAL WHO HAS THE MIND TO STEAL A GUN AND #50K WILL SWITCH OF HER PHONE AND GO INCOGNITO. SOME MAY EVEN DESTROY THE PHONE NUMBERS THE OFFICER KNOWS HER WITH.

I want to urge the Nigerian police to find the real criminal that stole the missing items and bring them to book.
