Every year, when summer ends, we get bombarded by the ads in fashion magazines on how to apply fall’s neutral makeup. We are advised to get new makeup in shades of the late October’s fallen leaves. ♦ For starters, even out your skin tone with a touch of foundation and concealer where needed.

♦ If you use powder, swipe a little bit over your forehead, lids, cheeks, and chin.

♦ Apply beige or taupe eye shadow all over your upper lids, and up to the crease. Blend well.

♦ Swipe a light shade of green, blue, silver, or gray, depending on your preference, from the middle of the upper lids to the outer corners, and up to the creases. Make sure to blend it into the light eye shadow you applied before.

♦ Finish the eyes with a couple of coats of black mascara.

♦ Apply pink blush on your cheeks, and either red or rich berry lipstick on the lips. You can apply lipstick with a brush or your fingers to achieve the soft and effortless look. Ta-dah!
