Nigerians are truly captives that love their chains. A Head Coach leads a football team to woeful failure and your next recourse is to clamour for the appointment of the Assistant Coach that is not ideologically different from Head Coach, to lead the team. Osinbajo is not pro Business or pro Economy and would be no different from his current principal. He is a Tax-and-spend big government proponent; a policy that is disastrous for a poor country like Nigeria(look at Nigeria's ballooning debt profile). If he becomes President, the current nepotism would simply be replaced with RCCG clique.

Ignorance

Nigerian Constitution is readily available freely online but Nigerian youth are dunce

If someone with internet in 2021 can't still understand the role of A Deputy Governor or a Vice President then such person is quite a fool

To Deputize , or To be a Vice, or to Be a Next of Kin, Crown Prince, King in waiting, Next in line or to be an Hier Apparent doesn't give you any Previledges of Assisting in any role whatsoever in what Your Principal, king, father or Boss does

Any Deputy, Vice , Next of Kin, Crown Prince, Heir apparent, King in waiting, Next in line that tries any form of act of Insubordination openly or behind close doors risk Accusation of Allegation of attempting to Kill , sabotage or take over from his Principal , King, President, Billionaire father

Should your Father make you his Next of Kin, and you wake up one day to tell him not to sell his property or land because it's your inheritance as the next of kin. He instantly start fearing for his life and might deal with you

He won't be any different, the positive thing he couldn't achieve or advice PMB to achieve since 2015 till date
Is it now in 2023 he will now get the idea...
See some people reasoning atiku was a powerful VP but osinbanjo is a powerless VP under the same constitution..
Me I know Nigerians will make a bigger mistake in 2023 osinbanjo or not osinbanjo , we just like to wicked ourselves and our future for nothing..

Why bringing the is of RCCG here. The truth of the matter is, Osinbajo is the best VP the country has produced and he would deliver as a President.

Not completely true
Give PYO executive power and see if he wont perform.....im sure you are one of those that usually hail his brief stints as acting president. As VP he cant even advise buhari and buhari will take his advice because of suspicion...remember if anything happens to buhari he takes over automatically.....most presidents dont give too much power to their VP except GEJ and its because his vice wasnt an ambitious guy.
Though i agree he is pro tax and spend big government like democrats are

I completely agree...we will make a bigger mistake in 2023....but theres a positive side to it.....maybe by 2030 we will have made enough mistakes to reset our medula oblangata to be making right decisions and hopefully leave a better Nigeria for our chlidren

Just because Osinbajo has been telling Nigerians what they want to hear lately, they mistaken him to be a potential messiah that can save Nigeria.

Indeed Nigeria masses are still in love with their oppressors, Nigerians deserve the kind of leader they get.

Yes. Osinbajo 'owns' APC's social - democratic economic philosophy that is loaded with plenty of Govt interventions.
That is why we are going to make him the next President of Nigeria.

Nigeria is a "human intensive country. The family unit is strong, individualism is strong and yet the people thrive on education and trade. There is middle class that throws thousands of skilled workers on to the global market annually in the US, UK and EU.
This large pool returns more forex in form of remittances to the country than oil and gas.

Nigeria also has a painful infrastructure gap and a agro- industrial base that needs to be revitalized via a mix of private investment and government groomed pool of small and medium holder farmers.

Contrast all these to the PDP Era where a few USD billionaires were grown on the back of 110m poor people, zero infrastructure and unbelievable levels of corruption.

That's untrue. Osinbajo will be almost as good as Obasanjo, or even better.

But all we want is to split this country. Nigeria don do.

I think we should just give it to Peter Obi and Atiku, in their mind, they thought they are done destroying Tinubu, their focus is Osinbajo now.

Everyone on this thread writing trash on Osinbajo is Okoro. That's how they operate

Anybody that is associated with Tinubu and Buhari should never lead this nation again.
My hypocritical Yoruba people blame Atiku for all the misgovernance of Obasanjo’s administration but strive to exonerate their son from Buhari’s destructive rule.
Mad children with negative IQ.

People say Atiku is terrible because Obj said so, they claim he used his position as VP to influence obj government, now under this same constitution they want us to believe osinbanjo is powerless and unable to influence or even advice buhari whether positively or negatively..

It's a shame some people are not looking at the long haul, they just want to like the name of person that wins they election, they don't care the effect and loss that follows after election day..
And it's worse since those kind of people are the majority

Osinbajo should go and sleep have he not steal enough? Anybody under this administration who could not speak out evil of this government is evil him/herself. A bread that sold N200 before this calamitous government came to power is now N500. Dollar is now N645 .
Until Osinbajo came out and apologize to Nigeria for deputize the most wicked government in the history of Nigeria God forbid him to be president of Nigeria

Osinbajo's performance as acting president during Buhari's medical trip to the U.K is a reflection of how he'll perform as president.

oga been vice president is not same as president

The president gives you limited tasks to perform and you do them like all vp's have seen doing which includes attending functions, chairing committe discussion that would still end up in president table

Osinbajo is more social and in tune with social media that is what people are confusing

I am not taking away his intelligence to be a SAN, prof, Lawyer

If you make him president today he is the kind of person that can't stand on his own, that can be bullied even with power

We have seen this with gej even when he had good intentions

The north would so bully osinbajo that he would continue paying ransom to them and can't deal with terrorism/Banditry decisively in north.

Insecurity would get worse because they believe it's the way to run him down

Whatever he does they would say he is a pastor trying to christianize the nation

We need someone like aketi, wike to represent south

Someone that can look them in the eyes and call a spade a spade

All these excuses just to evade the fact that Osinbajo was part of a terribly failed government and you’re willing to give him a chance to start a new one? Common sense says if you deputized a boss who failed, you’re a failure as well because you couldn’t help him. There’s no evidence that you’ll be better than him

The biggest scenerio is that nigeria must be Restructured

Fiscal federalism, decongesting the exclusive list, e-voting, state police

No executive should be allowed to go two term in a row

Let everystate generate and spend her income

People comparing Atiku's time to Osibanjo are not politically informed. Obasanjo is more of a listener. If you don't know, he has handed over to a democratically elected government amd this is why this same democracy was handed over to him to build. You won't expect such person not to work his ass off to make the country work. If Osibanjo had served under Obasanjo, this country would have been much much better.
Go study Osibanjo's time as Acting President and see the miracle Nigeria was heading to. Do you know what it is for political heavyweights to leave their country to meet the President in another country because of the heat they were feeling?
Osibanjo 2023 by God's grace, Insha Allah, lagbara oloun.
