Twitter Users Call Out School For Marginalizing Female Students by Siggynigeria: 2:39pm On Sep 14, 2021
Update from

A Twitter user @tosinolaseinde took to the social media platform to share the social activities allegedly approved by a school for students to choose from based on their gender.

In the activities log, females were required to choose activities like tailoring, hair making, cooking, and baking, while their male counterparts were given options such as gaming, cycling, drama, and art. The only activity the girls and boys share in common is reading, Siggy reveals.

This, however, didn't sit well with a lot of internet users who queried why such discrimination is still happening in 2021 and why students were not allowed to choose based on interest rather than their gender.
