Currently, in this country, I know for a fact that mining licences has been given to a couple of mining companies that get cut out huge chunks of our granites and other stones out of the ground and ship them to China for peanuts with practically no value added. The same China will use these huge blocks of stones as raw materials to produce polished marbles and guess what? They sell them these finished products back to us thereby draining our forex.
