The UEFA Champions League Round 1 games saw 44 goals scored in 16 fixtures despite three ending in stalemates.

1. Sevilla 1 - 1 Salzburg

The game might have ended in a 1 - 1 draw, but the game was full of exciting moments, particularly the first half. Both sides were ill-disciplined throughout the game, making the referee award four penalties in the first half.
Salzburg had three penalties all won by Karim Adeyemi and only converted one, while Rakitic slotted in Sevilla's only penalty. The referee eventually awarded a red card in the second half to Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyri.

2. Barcelona 0 - 3 Bayern Munich

This game will be exciting to all football lovers except Barcelona fans. Robert Lewandowski showed no mercy as his brace helped trash Messi-less Barca at Camp Nou. Ronald Koeman will now focus on getting maximum points in the four games against Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv as Bayern proves unmatchable.

3. Liverpool 3 - 2 AC Milan

This game was an exciting five-goal thriller with goals from Ante Rebic, Brahim Diaz, Mohamed Salah, Jordan Henderson, and a Fikayo Tomori's own goal.
Salah had initially lost a penalty in the first half, thanks to a Mike Maignan class save, but redeemed himself by equalizing in the second half. But Henderson's winning goal sent the Reds fans at Anfield into a frenzy as they secured maximum points dramatically.

4. Manchester City 6 - 3 RB Leipzig

This game is the most exciting game in the round as both clubs showed class in their goalscoring. Manchester City would eventually finish top.
Former PSG youngster Cristopher Nkunku scored a hattrick for Leipzig. City's players shared all six goals among themselves, including a Nordi Mukiele own-goal. Man City's goalscorers include Nathan Ake, Riyad Mahrez, Jack Grealish, Joao Cancelo, and Gabriel Jesus.

5. Sporting 1 - 5 Ajax

Sebastian Haller is currently topping the UEFA Champions League goalscorers chart, having scored four goals against Sporting. This game represents what PSG should have done to Club Brugge, as many fans anticipated. But Ajax helped us see an away trashing.
