With escalating conflict in several areas of the war-ravaged Syria, all is still not well with the country. Rights experts appointed by the United Nations are saying that the future for its citizens is “increasingly bleak”, highlighting a return to siege tactics and popular demonstrations linked to the plummeting economy.
