Southern Governors Forum is living up to its expectations. This is the way to go. We can end all sorts of marginalisation if a region decides to work together and speak with one voice. 57 Likes 2 Shares |

One good thing about all these is that Southern governors are increasingly having a common front on some important issues. Hopefully one day, the country would be governed as 2 regions; North & South. 15 Likes 1 Share |

The southern Governors should keep the fire burning and never rest on their oars. Someday we'd look back at this day, and smile because how far we've come. Building a south of strength 1 Like |

FORGET PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI and his FULANI CALIPHATE SYSTEM of government. He deceived gulliable voters in 2015 to secure the presidency only for him to open the FULANI SCRIPT which he is now playing with federal appointments, taking of federal loans and spending those money to corruptly enriched his northern kinsmen in federal and state position in government. LET THE SOUTHERN GOVERNORS CONTINUE TO MEET ON BURNING ISSUES AND BE TAKING DECISIONS. This is the only way to EDGE OUT the uncoperative northern Nigeria out of the political and economic equation. If they wait for President Muhammadu Buhari to take that decision nothing will ever happen. Since the southern governors started their meeting across their member states a lot have been put on the table and understanding have been derived that will also lead to an atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Good! Na now una wake up! The governor's forum has been split into two and this is a good thing. The southern governors are begining to see that their northern counterparts were becoming politically too strong for them; now they have woken up, before the FG starts saying a Northerner can rule in a southern state. All these wising up started as a chain reaction with #Endsars - IPOB - Yorùbá Nation. No matter how long we will show the North what it means to have brains. The political class in the south are begining to see that everyone will eat breakfast las las; they've suddenly risen up to their responsibilities! 1 Like 1 Share |

What is the essence of spending huge scarce resources on rail service to Niger? With the high level of insecurity in the North, our porous borders give access to influx from northern neighboring countries. Bandits, herdsmen and terrorists have taken over every area in the country. We need to thread with caution. |

Way to GO! We should just have two regional government; the South and the North. That's all... |

dallasi: @ dallasi BUT WE THE SOUTH PART OF NIGERIA SHOULD BE THE SENIOR PARTNER THAT SHOULD PLAY THE DECIDING FACTOR AS IT IS OUR MONEY that the northern part is surviving on. It is ridiculous for the north to think they should take the same piece of meat with the south. The wealth of the nation is in the south. In a saner society it is anything the south gives to the north that they should take and not to be sharing equal status with the south or taking the whole of it now as it currently stands. 2 Likes |

Southern Governors are still speaking English. The South MUST realise that we are the prize... Northern Nigeria brings very little / nothing to the table and without us the lazy North will die a natural death. Let them face the penury and terrorism they have created for themselves. How do you act subservient to someone you are feeding? We must realise that if the North had the resources of the South and we were like them who bring nothing to the table, they would have cut us off a long time ago with no regard for rule of law. I'm glad our governors are waking up gradually but it's too slow for me. Cut off the parasitic North and damn all conquences. I see Southern Nigeria becoming a country of its own. 7 Likes |

Politically, the north is already too strong. Allowing them 16 years on a stretch is suicidal to the southern political future. 1 Like |

The comments from people here still show that the masses have resigned to their fate to continue to exist in perpetual dociltiy and stupidity. See them hailing and praising the southern governors becuause the decided to meet, drink tea and take pictures. A good number of them in those pictures especially the ones in PDP are still going to support a Fulani man (Atiku, Tambuwal, Mohammed and co) as Presidential candidate just to grab power from APC. From the comments I see here people are still choosing to act like fools. Southern president indeed. Power must return to the South for me, but anyone thinking that these privileged Governors care more about more power coming to the South than power going to their political party is a real dunce. 1 Like |

I expect the remaining southern states to toe same path as Lagos; they should be part of the suit filled against the federal government and should fight the matter to supreme court . VAT collected should be used to develop their states. |
