Go to all the major markets in all states and ask those traders about their business on Mondays, you will understand better.

We should blame the south east governors for the continuation of this sit at home. They have sold their rights to the extents that their subjects don't regard them anymore.

Before a referendum can take place, we need to first educate our people and give them a reason behind why we believe that there should not be an election. What are the reasons? All these are issues affecting the Yoruba people and those of other tribes and that is why we will continue going through the peaceful manner recommended by the UN charter.

“Before we can speak of a referendum, we need to go out first, speak to the people, we will then present our case which is ongoing already by those leading us to say that the UN should calm down and do what was done to South Sudan in 2011 to allow peaceful break away out of this country.

Nigeria is a scam and no one should think of even talking about the election with the fraudulent constitution.”

Prominent leaders from various ethnic groups from the South-West, South-East, South-South and the Middle Belt under the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination gave the Nigerian Government an ultimatum to constitute a committee on Sovereign National Conference to decide on the repeal of the 1999 Constitution or to dissolve Nigeria’s amalgamation of 1914.

The leaders said all elections must be suspended so that winners would not be sworn in with the same 1999 Constitution which they described as faulty.

“In 2019, the whole of Biafra land will not vote for any president. There will be no Senator, there will be no House of Reps, there will be no House of Assembly and there will be no Councilor-ship elections in Biafra land if they (federal government) fail to call for a referendum.

“Nigerian government should build as many prisons as possible to jail all Biafrans because there is no going back and we are ready to go there (prisons) unless the federal government gives us Biafra.


“We are not like any other people. People like us don’t come twice. That’s why I know that with the last breath in this very body that Biafra will be restored. There’s nothing anybody can do about it. Tell them that’s what I said. Nobody on this earth can stop Biafra,” the IPOB leader said.
