Corruption Among The Staffs Of Port Harcourt Disco Company. by Cabazieu: 12:15pm On Sep 17, 2021
Let me go straight to the matter. On the 8th of sept. Evening a stationary truck hit our wire that was high across the road. And there was spark & blackout on our side.
The transformer was not affected, because my friend living at the other side of the street has light, We all use same transformer. The area is at Rumuomasi morning market.
We called PHED customer care unit & and informed them. They told us they will informed the Rumuola manager in charge of our area.

Which they came on Friday with 3 new poles to raise the wire high. They finished the job on Saturday evening.
We living there were happy for job well done, and entertain them with drinks and gave them 8 breads jumbo size.
Now this is were there problem started. They started asking for money, that we should find them something. Which nobody answered them. The manager was angry and ask his boys to load the ladder and other tools on there hilux van.
We reminded them that they have not plug in the fuse on the transformer. But they zoom off, they said is late that they will come back on Monday to plug it back.
We waited still Wednesday nothing happened.

We called PHED customer unit & informed them everything that happened, how we treated them nice and they started demanding for money. Which the lady said she will confirm from the manager of the situation & get back to us.
She called back and told us that the manager said, they discover our transformer was bad. That they are planning to take it to there workshop.

We reminded her it was working & people living across the street has light before they removed all the fuse to start work. She just said she has informed me what the manager told her & cut the call.

As am trying nobody has come there. We all use prepaid meter in Rumuomasi. And there are 2 cool rooms in this market.
Which gives them huge revenue. But they don't seems to care. Because they will still received salary at the end of the month.

I believe the chairman of PHED is not aware of what is going on.
Because the manager was bragging we will never have light for month, for reporting him.

We call on the chair man of PHED. Or who ever is in charge at the top. To please call the manager to order.
Or any one that know how to reach the chair man.
Should please tell us how.

Lalasticlala please take it to FP. So we can get help.
