POLICE PARADE 31 SUSPECTED CULTSTS

Benin City — FOLLOWING the renewed cult war between the suspected Eiye confraternity and the members, which had led to the death of no fewer than 18 persons in the last one week in Edo State, the state police command, yesterday, paraded 31 suspects alleged to be involved in the killings in different parts of the state.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. M. Hurdi, who paraded the suspects in Benin City, yesterday, said they were arrested in Ekpoma, Uromi and Benin City.

Most of the suspects claimed to be students of the Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, University of Benin, UNIBEN,College of Education, Ekiadolor and Auchi Polytechnic.
