Trajedy as 8 underaged boys went for swimming enroute Dogo-gada village, behind Efab City Estate Abuja as one of the boy drowned and went missing. You can see the boy father in white lace holding the boy cloth as someone had gone to summon him and break the sad news to him. Real tragedy indeed! I hope the boy gets found, rescued and returned back to his parent(s). From the look of such location the underaged boys went to swim, it's obvious it's an unsafe environment that the officials in charge should have barricaded to disallow any unauthorized access. why go swim in a gutter? this is it when our society can't provide recreational facility, infrastructure and amenities for the people. kids and adults from Ijaw and Ilaje who are meant to be amassing medals for us at the Olympics are wasting away with their aquatic skills and talents. the kid died trying to explore the talent his society never gave him opportunity to exhibit. 4 Likes |

Chai I pity the boys parents, I remember when one of the boys that were swimming with us at bridge orji uzor in aba died while swimming.. I couldn't sleep for roughly one month, because we were watching him drowning.. |
