Obasanjo is mischievous and foolish at the same time to say this government is borrowing for recurrent expenditure. Every money borrowed by buhari administration has been attached to capital projects. That's not recurrent expenditure. It was even okonjo iweala under jonathan who borrowed to pay salaries which is a recurrent expenditure.

All this your nonsense ethnical bias based rethoric is only adding to the problem.

You are also part of the problem, if all you are going to do is point fingers.

I don’t waste my time responding to a biased toilet paper like punch. What does Obasanjo have to show for his borrowings, at least under Buhari we can see infrastructural transformation. If you’re unhappy about your dilecto and suplim lida you can respond

he is more knowledgeable does not rule out the fact that he is mischievous and can be very silly and petty. He just lied about borrowing for recurrent expenditure. If you will be truthful to yourself, dig up all the loans from this adminstration on social media and see projects attached to all. Even the current loan he is trying to get, ipob was complaining south east was marginalised in the projects attached to the loan. Let us always stand for the truth.

The 127.6 kilometres road, arguably the busiest in Nigeria and Africa is undergoing reconstruction 48 years after it was inaugurated by the then Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo on Aug.18, 1978.

Lagos-Ibadan Expressway: Tale of nightmares for motorists, communities

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/04/a-diary-of-lagos-ibadan-expressway-tale-of-nightmares-for-motorists-and-communities/

OBJ failed to complete a 127 km road before and after 8 years in office, including under Yradua and GEJ, they all failed even after awarding and rewarding tons of contracts for the same road, they still left it rotten and abandoned, but to God be the glory, it's almost ready under PMB and some oof the new loan is going toward this project.

FG introduces austerity measures

November 17, 2014

By Emma Ujah, Abuja Bureau Chief

ABUJA—The Federal Government, yesterday, introduced some austerity measures and scaled down the crude oil bench mark for the 2015 budget.

In a bid to insulate the economy from falling crude oil prices the federal government announced far-reaching policy measures to deal with the crashing crude oil prices, cutting 2015 oil benchmark from $78 to $73 per barrel. Crude oil prices dropped to $77.76 per barrel, some cents below the $78 earlier proposed to the National Assembly as bench mark for the 2015 budget.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/fg-introduces-austerity-measures/

They crippled the economy and eventually declared austerity measures 6 months before PMB,.

Imagine the fools declared austerity when oil was selling for $78/barrel.

..but it was almost less than $20 when PMB came in and Nigeria did not die.

But Buhari has not borrowed to pay salary now.. Obj himself said it is fine if we borrowed for developmental projects, and seriously we have to borrow to address our infrastrural deficit..it is just so huge. There are no two ways to it, we must borrow and Fashola & Amechi are doing well by using the funds for capital projects.. Like loan from China is not even in cash but in investing in hearmarked capital projects which is fine

FG borrows N473bn to pay salaries - Okonjo-Iweala

The federal government has borrowed 473 billion naira to meet up with recurrent expenditure including paying of salaries while it is yet to release funds for capital projects.

https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/05/06/fg-borrows-n473bn-to-pay-salaries-okonjo-iweala/

After record oil sales and the largest oil earnings in the history of Nigeria, the looting and stealing clowns still borrowed N473b to pay salaries.

GEJ borrowed N473 billion in May 2015 to pay workers salaries, just a few weeks before handing over to PMB, but they want to lie and convince Nigerians that they left a great economy.

Bunch of crooks, liars and looters..

You are senseless. Almost all the funds needed for 2022 budget is borrowed. What percentage of our budget goes to recurrent expenditure? Obj is spot on. Buhari is borrowing to fund salaries, buy food in presidential villa and other wasteful ventures.

Obasanjo Flags Off N58.6bn Second Niger Bridge

THE construction of the much-awaited second River Niger bridge was yesterday flagged off by President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The N58.6 billion bridge which is expected to be completed between three and half years is to be built under public-private partnership with the Gitto Group providing 60 per cent of the fund, Federal Government 20 per cent while the Anambra and Delta State Governments would contribute 10 per cent each towards the project

https://allafrica.com/stories/200705250387.html

OBJ flagged off the same project that GEJ flagged off and left for dead on the drawing board..

God Bless PMB..
