1. Check for External Damages

The first thing your eyes capture is the model and structures of any Laptop or MacBook. How old the Mac product is? Does the Mac owner claim it to be a new condition? Before confirming your choice, you must ask for the complete history of the MacBook. For example, when was the product purchased? Did any issue occur during the period?

Moreover, you must also look for the model type and features, on the Apple store. This is will give you an idea about how old the model is, and whether the technical features and specialties match the buyer’s expectations.

I'm very hesitant to buy used Macs and any Apple tech in general. Of course, it's an opportunity to save money, but if something breaks, you'll have to make repairs at your own expense. And in my practice, all Apple devices start to break down after a couple of years of use.
