The Federal Capital Territory police command has commenced investigation into the case of Angel, a fraud victim whose case was brought to the notice of the Nigeria Police Force headquarters after a report by THE WHISTLER.

Angel had lost N1.3 million after a suspected internet fraudster, Frank, gained unauthorized access to her bank account and wiped her entire savings.

THE WHISTLER had exclusively reported how operatives at the Kubwa Police Division had asked the victim to pay N180,000 as “tracking fee” before would be able to help her recover her money.
