Police and bribe are like heartbeat. They flow. The painful part is how police will be collecting money from people taking one way. From Doyin in Orile, motorist make U-turn and face one way only for police to stand by one corner to collect tolls for passing one way..

One way from Doyin to Eric Moore road.

Most Nigerian policemen are corrupt as hell so I am not surprised. What else is new? Between Nigerian police and Nigerian lawmakers, I don't know who is worse. They are all a bunch of rogues.

Corruption is a way of life in Nigeria na. You don't get to pretend now, Oga. grin

If you have an encounter with a Nigeria police officer,
Try as much as possible to smile with them
If possible, joke with them,
Never claim right/smart with a Nigeria police, also make sure you're not an offender.
99% of police officer believe they can do and undo most especially when they are in uniform, in group, with gun and when it's dark.
Never argue with them no matter how hefty you might be.
Na mood dey dictate there actions at times.
And majority of them are drunkard, most of them have almost lost their sanity, probably due to conscience.

Give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar.
This have learnt.

If a police officer can shoot his colleague cos he was making jest of him cos of where he was newly transferred to.
Know this and save yourself unnecessarily stress

And carry on like that, living in perpetual fear of the same people we pay salaries!

When dem tell una say the biggest investment one can make as a Nigerian is to get the eff out of Nigeria, some persons go dey shrug.

Is this the country of your dreams

I have crossed paths not once or twice... How many can survive with 30k salary and 3 or more kids, school fee, house rent and the likes

No matter wetin you preach 30k monthly pay can't do nada for the matter

I respect your opinion but wear the shoe then you will understand what sapa can cause in the life of a man not women dis time.

One of many things affecting the police.
