The Philippines is gradually becoming one of the most sought-after destinations, especially for medical exams. This means that more and more students from countries around the world are applying to universities here, which is why the NMAT Exam becomes all the more important. However, what’s even more important than that is knowing about the NMAT cut off.

Anyone who gives any big examination is aware of the term “Cut-off”. The primary reason this phenomenon is as important as it’s made to be is the impact it has on the process going forward. Almost every crucial exam, more than a qualifying exam, is a filtering exam i.e. the purpose is to weed out the non-serious or non-deserving candidates. This job is done by the cut-off.

The information mentioned below regarding the NMAT cut-off has mainly been compiled by browsing the official website of the Indian Embassy. According to it, students will only be eligible to enter into a university in the Philippines if they qualify the NEET Exam in India first.

As far as the NMAT cut-off for the same is concerned, it’s basically the NEET scores of the student.
Students need to get a NEET score of 40% in order to be eligible for MBBS in Philippines.
There are also provisions in the form of quotas for foreign/international students. The quota is around 30% of the medical seats.

The NMAT Exam is a national-level exam that is conducted twice every year by the body called CHED. It’s mainly for admission into Filipino universities. Make sure to regularly check the latest cutoffs whether on the Indian embassy website or the university sites.
