[quote author=ttmacoy post=111833126]Using Nicaragua as a comparison is a very low yardstick, and there's a reason the Africans you mention are living there do business, it is because there are not many other opportunities for them there so they have to focus on business. It all depends on what the person going is after. ok do you travel to Nicaragua before and Bolivia how do you know is not good country what it is most important is that when you travel to any country the most important first get your resident permit after them if the country didn't have work them you can open small business which can make you survive in the country before you can apply citizenship of the country or if you know the country is not good them you can apply visa in that country to go another country which you can get a work l have many friend in Bolivia which there doing well and already a citizenship of the country them have Bolivia passport no country in the world is easy whether you went to america Canada or UK or whatever is not easy l have many friend in US or Canada most still tell me is not easy when you are Nigeria try to find visa not success if you have opportunity to move to country like Bolivia or Nicaragua for there you find yourself to enter good country like Argentina Costa Rica Brazil or panama Peru because all those country still have border with Nicaragua and Bolivia |

I do not need to travel to Nicaragua or Bolivia to get a sense of how things are there same I don't have to travel to Afghanistan to know life is hard there. You say the first step is to get resident permit, how will he get the resident permit? Based on what program or laws? Your advice of just go there and an agent will sort you out is a red flag as many times they go and get stuck and can't go backwards or forwards and have to hustling and hiding around to survive. If you truly believe he can get resident permit spell out the process here and make it clear not just go and when you get there an agent will sort you out. yes life in the US can be hard for illegal immigrants, guess what it is worse in countries like Bolivia etc. You can blend in more easily in the US and still find work, you can't in Bolivia hence why you keep saying they will do business. It's up tp the OP but be careful going to certain countries as an illegal immigrant. In reality we should not be going to any country to be illegal but I understand situations force people. I can’t help but laugh at so many thing I’m seeing on this thread. Daring for those who want to leave by all mean and It’s quite educative for those who read in between and try to make sense out of it. OP wants to travel, someone told him he needs to go to Morocco or Egypt or something to get some country’s visa. Very simple. Even if you don’t like Bolivia or Nicaragua or Ecuador or El Salvador. You can simply get a Moroccan visa(which is a bit easy), then get your Bolivian Visa from Morocco, come back to Naija after 6 month, Get Egypt visa(which is a bit easy too) and get the Ecuador or whatever country visa you can from there too and come back home. You can use this to boost your passport even if you don’t go there. I believe this will make traveling to Europe or Other countries a bit easier for you than anyone who’s yet to leave the shores of Nigeria. My two Kobo 1 Like |

modskiller: Your topic is correct but let me tell you, you know, if you get all these visas, maybe the Ecuador or Bolivia or any visa and come back to Nigeria, it's just wasting your money for nothing if you get a visa, all those country in south america If you stay there for about 2 or 3 years, you can have the citizenship of the country you can get there passport which can facilitate your travel, no matter Europe, America or Canada, everything can be easy for you. You know, if you live in Bolivia or Ecuador for three years, you can have citizenship of that country. There you have good passport and a passport is good for traveling to any country you like because visa free , like Bolivia passport still visa free for Ireland. Let's be smart for ourselves It is very difficult to get a Schengen visa if you can also get the visa in Europe before you can get paper to work because in Europe it is not easy to get paper too 3 Likes |

sliksusan: I understand you, but it’s not easy or advise-able you travel overseas to overstay or as an illegal immigrant. It could have devastating effects if care is not taken. Even if you have a Million you can go to Dubai and buy one or two things you can resell them to make part of your money. I like the fact that your spirit is quite high though If you visit Canada or USA with just 1 million naira you will make over 1.5M to 2M if you know how to manage and utilize the money. If you continue the cycle you will be happy on the long run. Staying illegally will have you struggling to get things in place for 2-3 years or 1 year minimum which might not go well with most people. 1 Like |
