We are a business based in Lagos currently looking to hire a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to work in our office in Ikeja. You will be required to have the theoretical & working knowledge of Databases, Windows Operating Systems plus the ability to learn fast + provide support to the IT team.

Job Description
Essential Skills
- Installing & Configuring MS SQL Server 2014 & above + applications
- Installing & Configuring Windows Server 2012 & 2016
- Administering, managing & maintaining large databases requiring 24/7 availability
- Database & Server Health Monitoring
- Database Performance & Troubleshooting
- Writing TSQL, Stored Procedures, Functions
- Provide technical assistance to project teams
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

Optional Skills
- VMWare - Installing Virtual Machines
- MS Azure - Compute & Networking
- MS Azure SQL

Skills:
-Very good level of English Language - both written and spoken;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
-Excellent Administrative and Organizational skills
-Ability to work with own Initiative
-Willingness to learn and develop;
-Team player and willingness to support colleagues;

Requirements
- Minimum of HND/OND in Computer Science or related fields
- Experience in desktop or technical support
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Live within 30mins of commuting with Ikeja
- Flexible work approach, self-motivated and organized
