This response really made me laugh and that's why I am reacting.

The message is simple: All Nigerian governors are corrupt. There's no exception.

However, Ganduje is being maligned because he was caught on camera stuffing his agbada with some U$D and his son reported his mother.

Despite that, we have seen pictures of massive infrastructural projects the man is executing across Kano State. They are all over Nairaland.

My point is, we have to give him some credit because he's chopping and working. Other governors are saints but are doing practically nothing.

Secondly, the institutions are so weak that governors can afford to loot the entire treasury and get away with it. Yes, that's why he deserves some credit.

He is corrupt and the peanut that he gives back does not make him better than anyone.
Assuming a Scammer hacked into your account and steal N1m from it and transfer recharge card of N3,000 to you, you will clap for him?
Or a kidnapper gets ur family member abducted, collect ransom, finally killed the person. He comes out to dig borehole for ur family in memory of the dead person, you will clap for him.
This nonsense defense you are putting up here is so absurd. It is an insult to morality.
Come to think of it, are there politicians supposed to be talking of infrastructures like road constructions, flyovers, and water projects by now. They should not be clapped for when these are provided. It shouldn't even be part of campaign promises.

We should hail them when they put up things that will improve the economy. Raise per per capita income. Increase GDP. Work on climate change. Improved security etc.
So, you better start thinking right. This kind of mentality is what it giving these old men the mind to keep misbehaving. And it's so pathetic that this kind of comment is coming from a young man like you.
