Yes i'm aware of the fact that the Niger delta militants are fighting for the use of their God given oil to develop their regions(whether they are genuinely serious or not) which they claimed has been neglected despite the fact that they feed the Nation.

But i'm yet to know the reason or excuse of that of Gboko haram for taking up arms!
Pls,does anyone know their reason or demand?.please help me solve the puzzle!

They want a Moslem tyrant to become head of state.

He will enforce Sharia in all the states of Nigeria plus Abuja
All schools must teach Arabic and Islamic religion will become a must for all.
Those who reject Islam will be beheaded or stoned publicly.
Women must cover their body from head to toe (including their faces).
A woman has no voting right let alone seeking for a polical office.
A woman cannnot walk on a road except if accompanied by a man.
Our sons will be forced to become Almajeris while our daughters will become their wifes at the age of 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, ,
They will collect our lands and properties and do whatever they like with it.
Every form of Western Education will be outlawed.
The media will be gaged and anybody with a contrary opinion will be executed.
Many more.

Then and only then, will Allah be happy, Nigeria will be at peace and we all shall live happily ever after.

@Poster, do you have any problem with that?

They believe Nigerian constitution should be based on sharia.

Bad governance in the country make the group preaching appealling to their followers.

Their calling is not possible because there is large population of non muslim in the country.

The Boko Haram are equally fighting over a serious national issue, that is CORRUPTION. To say boko (western education is an abomination), they may be correct in their thinking. It is the western education that caused all the stealing, fornication, hazard behaviours, rituals for posts and worldly pleasure, etc. They cannot lay their complaints to, yet, a corrupt set up (the government, or its instruments). They used their own style to propagate it. They were denied any access and liberty to that, by the same government and its instruments. So they take arms against the government of the states that stop them and the instruments (police & army). They were extra judiciously treated and they wish to pay with the same side of the coin. Period!!!
Since you know, vaguely, the reasons why the Niger Delta militants took (still taking arms), they find the scale in which you will weigh the two philosophies.

If western education is a sin!,then i guess they should all ve been living in thatched huts in rejection of western housing styled!
Also they should all move naked on the streets daily with only leaves as their clothing because i think clothing was never part of our culture initially grin
they are all Blind folded by illiteracy and religion!

They are fighting against 'Western Principles' and way of life.

Indeed Nigeria has been corrupted but their primitive and ignorant methods will never achieve anything.
