300bn for roads in Niger State while Enugu Onitsha express way has been unpassable since 33 yrs that I was born. The main and formerly only linkage between North, Middle belt, South East, South South and South West...is Markudi-Enugu (9th mile) express way. The gully on that road since 5 yrs ago can swallow a full truck.

The other day it is a foreign loan to build railway to Niger republic, boom it is to build Naval base in Kano.

The North will surely destroy the so called one Nigeria they clamour for. When the injustice gets people to neck level then the uprising will be inevitable.

Mr man, Niger republic (an oil-producing country) is landlocked and the reason for extending the railway there is to make them transport their imports and exports through Nigeria instead of Cotonou. If the Senate urges #300b fund for emergency roads in Niger state, they should also look into the roads in South-South and south-east, there are lots of emergency Federal roads.

The economic situation of this country only concerns the north, no good roads in the south eastern part of the country and the Senate can't do anything but in the case of the North, the Federal government should raise an emergency fund.

Get the facts right- kano state alone generate more Vat than all 5 SE states combined. Central collection of Vat is more efficient. What people like Wike should demand is fairer distribution of the collection.

But what the Niger senator did is exactly what Abaribe did. So why's the reaction different as though the FG released money for Niger but did not release money for the SE?
