Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) has denied involvement in the murder of Dr Chike Akunyili yesterday 28/09/2011 in Anambra.

The Group's Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful made the statement available to Punch Newspaper.

His word....."We have no hands in the political killings going on in Biafra land.
We have at several times raised the alarm that some cruel politicians are hiding under the cloak of the situation in Biafra land to eliminate their political enemies and blame it on IPOB."

IPOB headed by Nnamdi Kanu is demanding a separate nation for Igbo ethnic group occupying the present SouthEast of Nigeria.

Recall that IPOB had earlier declared a Sit-At-Home every Monday in Ebonyi, Anambra, Imo, Abia and Enugu States in solidarity with their leader, Nnamdi Kanu who was extradited in June from Kenya to Nigeria to face trial bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, possession of firearms, headship of illegal organization amongst other count charges.

The Igbo ethnic group numbering about 16.5%(52million) of total Nigeria's population behind Hausa-Fulani tribe is accusing Buhari-led government of being responsible for the violent agitation going on in the region.

Why would Ipob kill a fellow Ipob or have this man ever deny Ipob or condemn them~These are the questions reasonable
people need to ask.



I believe that those that killed him are the same people that declared unarmed Ipob terrorists,now they are doing everything possible to justify it.


I remember they also went to Home of Kanu's lawyer to kill him but ended up in killing his PA.if not that CCTV captured it,their media COWs would have be saying that the lawyer was attacked by angry ipob members.
