This is a sincere and empathetic need to *#SaveBlissVictor* from total Blindness and Paralysis!!!

*Explaining what Happened* ;
I write to solemnly appeal for your compassionate support in any way possible towards my baby BLISS Victor, she was born on 16th of July 2018, in good health until she accidentally fell from a high bed at a tender age of two (2) months. After that domestic accident, she bled internally for about four weeks with no signs or symptoms of ailments or Injury. It should be noted that Bliss routine immunization and doctor's visits were in due course and up-to-date as we the parents diligently ensured necessary check-ups were done. Little Bliss was rushed to a pediatric Hospital in Port Harcourt at the time she had convulsion. Attempts were made to stabilize her at the primary hospital after which she was Transferred to a tertiary Hospital (University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital - UPTH) diagnosed of and being treated for MENINGEO-CEPHELISIS and it's associated ailments for the next three (3) weeks before some brain CT and MRI scans were done indicating Hydrocephalus and Chronic Bilateral Subdural Hematoma (Blood in the brain region). At about December 2018, Little Bliss 6months of age underwent a major Surgery (Bilateral Subdural Burr Hole surgery) to evacuate the CSF ( Cerebrospinal Fluid) and Blood in the brain region. Currently the Brian damage is seen to have affected her occipital lobe, Cortical nerves and Vision neurons. Bliss' physical eye looks normal but the Brain is unable to interpret what the eye sees. Again, her left leg and arm are affected from the Brain.

*Little Bliss is in a pitiable Condition;*
We the parents and some well wishers, cry soberly at different times whenever we remember the condition of Bliss, imagining that this Energetic, pretty and lovely little girl may have to live the rest of her life as a BLIND and LAME individual if necessary treatments/therapies are not undertaken early enough. The medical reports from specialist Doctors' within and outside Nigeria show the critical Medical condition of Bliss (see attached reports). It is heartbreaking to believe that Bliss will remain Blind if nothing is *URGENTLY* done.

Little Bliss was Born without deformity in July 2018, but after about 2 months, Bliss VICTOR at a tender age of two (2) months, accidentally fell from a high bed which caused her to bleed internally (it was noticed and treated late), communicating hydrocephalus and resulted (brain damage) in Her being Blind (cortical Blindness) and Lame (hemiparesis) till date. She was diagnosed of Chronic Bilateral Subdural Hematoma (Blood in the Brain region/Brain damage). She already underwent Burr Hole Surgery at the age of 5 months, yet the problem lingers. The doctors' say bliss Cortical nerves around the Occipital lube may have been affected, causing a distorted communication between the Occular eyes and the interpretation from the Brain.
She is currently 4years of age as at July 2022 and still unable to walk or see! We the parents have spent huge sum of funds for over three (3) Years and counting to enable little Bliss live an Independent Life yet we have achieved little success. The earlier she gets access to the needed Rehabilitation and treatments, the Better.

*Describing the Recommended Treatment* ;
Kindly Help save Baby Bliss as she needs the combined multidisciplinary specialist pediatric services of Pediatric Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Orthopedist, Physiotherapist and most importantly Vision therapist to treat her. Bliss is Cortically Blind and can not see or move independently, the brain injury has severely affected her developmental milestone. She can not attend school like her mates etc. The listed specialists have *recommended an intensive result-oriented rehabilitation activities to help recover any available vision and support the possibilities of Brain Plasticity.*

*How soon does Bliss Need the funds;*
The American Hospital Dubai after detailed diagnosis estimated Ninety Five Thousand US Dollars $95,000.00 USD (approximately NGN39 million Naira) as needed cost of treatment and Rehabilitation of her Sight, Arms and Leg. The funds are needed as soon as possible, we can not mandate anyone. There is already along delay, the older Bliss gets, the more difficult it is to Rehabilitate her systems.

*Other ways to help little Bliss;*
We the parents are open to any well meaning family in an advance country that may have the Technology to save bliss, such a family could adopt Little Bliss. Another option include passionately sharing this Appeal to all well-meaning individuals for needed Support.

Hospitals do not give any guarantee to patients. It is the patients that give consent to receive treatment.
Where a patient refuses to give consent the hospital will simply refer you to another hospital stating the reasons you are being referred.

Your language is insultive.
