Wike was in RSU yesterday to inspect a project. Below is the excerpt of what transpired. Yesterday we inspected the ongoing construction at the Dr. Peter Odili Cancer and Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnostic and Treatment Centre; the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, the Renal Department and Pathology Department buildings of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital. Our huge investment in tertiary health infrastructure is aimed at making the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital the best in the country and to strengthen our public health institutions to provide top level health care to majority of Nigerians who cannot afford medical treatment overseas. We have made upfront payments to our contractors and expect all these projects to be set for use by May 2022. |

chrisxxx:Sure, & the same Peter Odili just returned from U.K., where he went for medical treatment? A third term is too short, I propose turning Rivers State to a supposed democratic monarchy & would nominate wike to be The Governor General of Rivers State for life like Mobutho. |

Rexwalters1:We will look into this your suggestions. Meanwhile if not for your primordial animosity towards anything Wike you would have seen reason with him when he said those who could not afford overseas trip. Odili can afford it. And if what Wike wants to put in place is up to scratch most of them won't travel out. |
