Following continuous denial and refusal by IPOB leadership to identify with Unknown Gun men brutal and fierce activities in SouthEast geopolitical zone, it's obvious there's something behind their mission.

Their sympathetic feelings towards incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu cannot be hidden or underestimated considering their mode of operation and what they have strong aversion for.

Recall that IPOB acting on Kanu's directive suspended or called off the Sit-at-home protest every Monday but it's still observed obediently in the 5 States of SouthEast—Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu, Imo and Abia.

The Anti-Election gun men have carried out series of mayhem successfully in Igboland without any serious resistance from security operatives.

The burning down of Department of State Security Services building and Federal Road Safety Corps Office in Nnewi due to Nigeria flag still standing within their premises was still not unconnected with their objectives which they have made very clear to the general public.

The emboldened and fearless gun men have succeeded so far in removing every Nigeria flag and insignia showing symbol of authority of Nigeria State within the SouthEast. They have also enforced Sit-at-home exercise which occasionally results in burning of Vehicles or Tricycles of defaulters.

Anti-Election Campaign.
The Unknown Gun Men have announced that any form of campaign or campaign materials should not be seen in any part of SouthEast beginning with Anambra State Election. They have raised their voices towards disrupting the election scheduled to hold on Nov 6th, 2021 by INEC.

SouthEast Governor's Forum led by Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Engr David Nweze Umahi seems handicapped and helpless towards the current security challenges ravaging the region. Although Ebube-Agu Security Outfit was created to complement security situation but the outfit hasn't been fully functioning or existing in other Igbo States except Ebonyi.

DIALOGUE—the only way forward.
Concerned voices from the SouthEast including the APC Governorship Candidate in Anambra, Sen Andy Uba have suggested dialogue and diplomatic approach to the crisis engulfing the SE. He made reference to how dialogue settled MASSOB agitation in the past which is still obtainable now for peace to be enthroned. Also speaking, the Spiritual Director of HolyGhost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma popularly known as Ebube Muonso in Igbo parlance has volunteered to negotiate and dialogue with the Unknown gun men in a bid to finding lasting solution to their demand. He believes he can speak to them to ascertain their grievances and equally provide workable solution to their plights.

What does IPOB really want.
Citing maginalisation, injustice, lack of fairness and non inclusiveness against Igbo race in the Nigeria project, The Indigenous People of Biafra led by its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is agitating for a separate nation for SouthEasterners. The secessionist group believes strongly that Igbo people have what it takes to exploit their full potential and equally build a prosperous homeland for themselves unhindered.

Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated its effort to clamp down on violent agitation in the SouthEast, stressing that the unity of the country is not negotiable. Troops have been deployed to SouthEast region on 4th October 2021 to carry out Exercise Golden Dawn across Igboland.

Unknown Gun Men[UGM] may not be IPOB members as there is no evidence to depict such but the fact remains that they are sympathetic to Nnamdi Kanu and his course.
