Anambra Guber: Why Ndi Anambra are Waiting For the ZLP Guber Candidate, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo.

It’s 32 days today to the highly contested Anambra State Gubernatorial Election scheduled to hold on Saturday November 6, 2021, and the electorates in the state are charged and ready with their permanent voters card (PVC), to vote the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Dr. Obiora Okonkwo.

Political actors in the state and the Obiora Campaign team are campaigning, moving from door to door, house to house and meeting people at town halls to get the buy in of all the stakeholders and electorates in the state.

One major high points in the Obiora Campaign is his people oriented programmes and policies, especially the Graduates/Apprenticeship Scheme. This scheme is resonating in the minds and hearts of all the young people in Anambra state.

The scheme when implemented will produce more than one thousand millionaires in Anambra state. The major beneficiaries in the scheme are young unemployed graduates and apprentices that have graduated from their different trades but are yet to be settled by their masters.

This is in addition to the programmes and policies in his Ten Point Agenda and other numerous support programmes of the ZLP Guber Candidate that is providing employments to so many people in Anambra state.

In the pursuit of his passion for philanthropy, Dr. Okonkwo founded the Pro-Value Humanity Foundation, a charity primarily concerned with recreating humanity through authentic human-centered development and reorientation of values. The NGO has empowered so many Nigerians in rural areas in Anambra state and is touching lives in so many ways.

This native of Ogidi, in Idemili-North area of Anambra State is a business man cum politician. He is widely travelled and is fluent in English, Russian and Igbo languages. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (FNIPR), Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FCE), and CareerNation Institute, New York, USA.

The ZLP Guber Candidate is a strong believer in poverty eradication through skills acquisition for youths, he was the 2019 Face of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) -an annual event of Rotary International which brings together youths from across the globe for leadership and entrepreneurial training. To demonstrate his support for the programme, he sponsored several Anambra youths to the Rotary Booth Camp where they learned different self-actualizing skills.

Dr. Okonkwo is a man with many titles. He was in November, 2019, honoured by the traditional rulers of Anambra North senatorial zone with the title of Ibobo Ndigbo, and by the traditional rulers of Anambra South senatorial district as Ebubemba. He also holds the traditional title of Mbuba Anafolu Mbulu N’Ukpa, conferred on him in 2018, by all traditional rulers of Anambra Central Senatorial district. Traditional rulers of his home constituency in Idemili North and Idemili South local government areas honoured him with the title of Dikeora Idemili while the entire Igboland conferred on him the title of Ugegbe Igbo.

Dikeora is a man loved by his people and the only Gubernatorial Candidate that is providing services to his people even before the election in November 6, 2021.

Dikeora is a very strong believer in the unity and inclusive transformative development of Anambra State. Dr. Okonkwo is a strategic thinker, a unifier and a visioner with very strong bias for developmental politics and the repositioning of Anambra State as the heartbeat of southeast economic renaissance.

His love for Anambra State is unrivalled and he is well accepted across the state as a great political mobiliser who is at home with diverse groups including the traditional institution, the churches, the academia, students, artisans, trade and professional groups irrespective of social status.

I therefore encourage all eligible voters in Anambra state to vote enmass for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), candidate, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo. It’s a new dawn in Anambra State.

They will wait in vain.
