I believe it depends on the gender if the person in question is a lady choose your family but for a man choose your carreer when you are successful your family will always come around but if you choose your family and later go broke you will end up loosing your family chikenah

At the end of all the career pursuit, family would still be there. If career fall your hands, family will be there. If you got sacked by career, family would still be there.

Your office is only intrested in your input and once your input is itrelevant you become useless and can be layed off.
Lost a colleague at work years ago and he was replaced within 2days, but his family will mourn forever, they lost someone, the office replaced someone. then i realized my value in both.
