Governor Akeredolu of ondo state is doing fantastic as well. But you can not nominate every person at the same time.

With the way Makinde handled igangan and ibarapa crisis I don't think he should be in that list, especially for security. Wike is OK but I will prefer Sanwo Olu to Makinde the guy is working so hard. Then Akeredolu is bold and brave he deserves an honour too.

Nyesom Wike beat governors David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi state, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state, and Baduru Abubakar of Jigawa state to emerge Governor of the Year in Education and Infrastructure.
Wike?? this is why i hate naija system, wike that overhype everytin in education..take the state university as example,during his tenure school fees and other payable fees in the sch portal increase frm 36K to 90-120 for indigenes and non indigenes. without any form of improvement in the system or is it d flyovers that he builds in everywhere that is infrastructure? am frm rivers nd support PDP but, honestly wike is a mistake compare to Rotimie whose legacies is seen in every part of rivers. he was just a tool we used to fight Rotimie becus of our love for jonathan.

Please try and be a constructive critic. Every state have there challenges. Some are just better managed than others.

Why pdp some thing is smell

No governor deserves any award in Nigeria presently until local governments are allowed to function without governor's interference (LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUTONOMY)
Meanwhile, the only governor that deserves award in Nigeria presently apart from Lagos state governor is Borno state governor (Professor Zulum). While I mentioned Lagos is best known to me and those who actually know what good governance is all about BUT because non of them allows local governments to function as they were before 2003, no one among them deserves both local and international AWARD.
