He is believed to be a mole for the FG, hence the high level of suspicion.

Once he gets info of the attendees of the meeting, he may relay it to the FG who will now unleash the DSS disguised as UGM to take 'em out.

The DSS guy killed by the police in Imo aroused suspicions of being a trouble maker and as one of the UGMs. He should have simply told the police that they have the same master and that he is on official assignment from the FG to carry out "some strategic security jobs" (if he can't mention being a DSS cum UGM), and perhaps he would be spared.
