Information Minister Lai Mohammed has backed Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF) on the latter’s threat of imposing state of emergency in Anambra State.

Mr Malami had on Wednesday threatened that the federal government will not hesitate to slam the emergency rule option should killings continue in the state whose governorship election comes up early next month.

Justifying the threat on Thursday, Mr Mohammed argued that the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) which has repeatedly denied issuing no guber election order in the Igbo predominant state constitutes grievous threat than bandits ravaging states in the Northern part of the country.

The minister queried critics, lambasting his colleague for invocating state of emergency as lasting solution to the killings the state governor Willie Obiano opined was politically motivated, on what would happen should the secessionist group demanding the actualization of defunct Biafra Republic succeeds in halting the governorship election.

“In the last couple of weeks, IPOB had imposed sit-at-home on the citizens, they did not allow people to go to schools, markets and there are also high profile killings,” the government propagandist said on Thursday while speaking with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). “The AGF said yesterday that the government will do whatever it takes to restore law and order in Anambra and the entire South East to ensure that symbols and pillars of democracy are not tampered with.

“The forthcoming election in the state is one of the pillars of democracy.

“Those who are criticising the AGF on this, have they thought for one minute what will happen if the election does not take place in Anambra State on Nov. 6?

“It is a disingenuous argument to say that they have killed more people in Katsina, Zamfara and Kaduna than they killed in Anambra.

“What is happening in Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna and Niger is criminality and the government will not condone it,” he added

Is Buhari even serious?

THEIR PLAN:

1) Some unknown figures emerged from nowhere and started shooting everybody in sight. They actually beheaded an innocent almajiri somewhere near Onitsha and pasted a huge banner that read "The Return of The Unknown Gunmen"!!
What an announcement! You actually believed that IPOB ESN will announce themselves in this way? Then start denying everything later..?

2) NEXT, They trailed a very respected but peaceful medical practitioner and executed him in the most gruesome way possible for no justifiable reason and tried to blame IPOB! The needed the people to be outraged in order to deploy men for their hatchet job...

3) While the killings were going on in top speed, every information disemination channels of the government was on overdrive trying to pin the killings on IPOB and Biafran agitators while IPOB was struggling restlessly to deny any involvement. Online pro government hoodlums created a thousand accounts every minute just to shout "IPOB-ESN are terrorists".. They're still at it..

4) NEXT, campaign structures of every political party was targeted. These arsonists even raised down the DSS and Police headquarters at Nnewi! If you know the amount of armed men in these places, you would know that men in about 3 cars can't comfortably carry out such attacks without help and get away do cheaply...

5) So, without warning, the Federal government declared an army exercise in Anambra and adjoining states. Note that this exercise was supposed to have been planned much earlier, taking into cognizance the planning and marshalling of materials needed. Somehow it coincided with the period the governorship elections in Anambra state will go down! Coincidence?

6) Quickly and without any notice, a new Police commissioner was announced for Anambra state few hours ago and the former Police commissioner in Anambra who might be sympathetic to Obiano relocated to force headquarters!

7) The new Police commissioner used to be the Officer in Command of the new police Zonal Division that was sited at Ukpor for no reasons. Ukpor is the hometown of Arthur Ézè. Arthur Ézè has been having an unending running battle with governor Obiano! Obiano actually opposed the siting of the new divisional headquarters at Ukpor and sacked the traditional rulers who joined Arthur Ézè to go to Abuja for a solidarity visit to Buhari...

8 ) With the state highly militarized, and with a new Police Chief ostensibly loyal to Arthur Ézè and his gang, it's starting to look like Abujas candidate in the Anambra elections is whosoever that Arthur Ézè is supporting. Andy Uba is Obasanjos boy. Buhari might not be keen on him..

Now, Buhari and his goons are threatening a State of Emergency!!! In Anambra not in Katsina, Kaduna or Borno.. Isn't that wonderful?

SUMMARY:

The whole noise and killings and beheading in Anambra are nothing but parts of a well choreographed, well funded plan to rig the elections or alternatively make the elections inconclusive, in order to allow herdsman Tanko at the supreme court to do his usual thing.
Anambra people should be vigilant...

if the people should just know that the government is not their enemy it would have been better than believe some thugs who they think are their saviours

So all this melancholic evil liar is telling sane people is that bandits/BH terrorists are less tolerable and destructive than regional agitators demanding self actualization?

All members of this government are very silly for all their senseless statements on the insecurity situation around this nation.

The Shameless Buhari praises singers will soon be here to expose their shame and dishonour.

Which has killed more people between bandits and IPOB?

Which group is currently controlling an entire local government in Niger State?

Bandits or IPOB?

Unknown to Lai Mohammed, he is just a pawn on the chess board of the Fulani North, he and Tinubu along with those other blind southerners, like Umahi, Akpabio, Tinubu, and Prostitute FFK.

Why can't we go our separate ways peacefully since peace is no longer sacrosanct??

Why forcing ourselves on each other?

The unknown gun man killed in southeast yesterday was a DSS member.

How does your Brain explain that?
