If a customer opts for pickup rather than delivery then they can pay after loading. Even for delivery we would prefer you pay 30% upfront and keep ready a bank draft of 70% which is our balance and post date it after delivery.

Paying anything upfront is risky, except you platform your goods on a well known online store that can serve as an escrow just in case you don't deliver. Go put your goods on a reputable online store and then sell it from there.

Yes, I definitely understand the risk.
That's why we work with legal documents from our invoice to company outfit (for pickup) to reassure buyers. We also run a corporate account; banks don't open corporate account for companies they can trace those who run them.
Sometimes I can send some documents to be able to trace us like our c.a.c copies.
I love repeat business or regular buyers...I'd rather deliver with integrity so you can increase the volume of order on the next buy than ruin a business relationship on greed

We also run a J.I.T production system (just in time). This is because we have a particular production output per week as we have on ground offtakers for them. If there's an external order the upfront commitment helps reassure us that our extra production would be offtaken after processing
