JOB RECRUITMENT OF A FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST- IBADAN
Our company, an award-winning and leader in the publishing industry with her head office situated in Ibadan is looking for a front desk receptionist with a pleasant personality to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform varieties of secretariat tasks. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company and you are expected to welcome guests and politely attend to people who visit the business premises. You will coordinate front-desk activities, receive and distribute correspondence as well as direct visitors to appropriate offices/staff.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and welcome walk-in guests and customers as they arrive the reception and make sure they are comfortable while they wait for
their scheduled appointment.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office or alert the staff they request to see
• Ensure reception area is tidy, presentable and welcoming to customers/visitors
• Accept deliveries and posted mails and distribute them to the appropriate recipients/offices.
• Politely answer questions from walk in guests/ customers or direct them to the appropriate office
• Assist new applicants who come into the building to apply for positions by providing them with pens and papers if need be.
• Handle data entry and filing as requested
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, typing etc.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
• OND or HND in Office Technology Management, Secretariat Studies or similar discipline.
• At least 2 years work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, Secretary or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft word and excel
• Hands-on experience with office equipment such as photocopying machine and printer.
• Must always put up professional attitude and appearance, be friendly and polite as the first point of contact.
• Extensive knowledge in correct usage of English language with solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Very fast in typing with at least 40 words per minute with minimal error.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently.
