Wizkid‘s album “Made In Lagos” has hit one billion streams across all streaming platforms in less than a year after its release.

The album has about 322 million streams on Apple Music, 229 million streams on Spotify, 227 million streams on YouTube, over 140 million streams on Audiomack, over 40 million streams on Boomplay and 20.1 million streams on Pandora.

Made in Lagos is Wizkid’s fourth studio and it was released on the 30th of October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.

The Nigerian Music Superstar featured guest appearances from British artists Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R., Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tay Iwar, Terri and Tems, the latter of whom featured in the international-charting song “Essence”.

In the deluxe edition of the album, Wizkid featured guest appearances from Nigerian artist Buju and Canadian singer Justin Bieber.
