Legal/real estate people in the house, quick inquiry.
Someone bought a house from a developer in July 2020 under an 18-month installment arrangement and never once defaulted based on the signed commitment agreement. 15 months in, the developer says they are changing his house from the one chosen (say House No 3) to another (say House No 4). Every receipt, document, and letter has No 3 on it. On confrontation, developers insist they can do that because what was given was a Provisional offer letter and not an actual Offer letter hence they can do whatever they want. They are doing this simply because a director in the company insist it is No 3 he wants. Are they legally allowed to do this and the buyer has no option than to accept?

Contact your lawyer because the house is already yours.
