A former governor of Anambra, Mr. Peter Obi, on Tuesday decried budgetary allocation for the Office of First Ladies, describing it as an unnecessary expenditure that should be channeled into something worthwhile.

Obi, who was a guest speaker at the 8th Annual Foursquare Gospel Church in Lagos, said that the yearly budgetary allocation for the office should be stopped because it increases the cost of governance in the country.
