Fulani herdsmen should take their cattle to the north.

No free land in the south.

He betrayed his southern governors and he's now using excuse to get money from the federal government.

He said Buhari has promised to look into it. But the Buhari that I know would not do anything about this request.

You think Buhari is mumu like you?

Betrayer is your middle name Obaseki. You betrayed APC, PDP, and Edo no be Lagos.

This governor is a confirmed scallywag. Is he even sensitive to the needs of his people? Once their personal political agenda is met every other person can jump into the lake. May God continue to answer any leader that will not follow their manifesto with ailments money cannot cure.

Instead of anyone to sell out the destiny of Edo people and their lands, may God push them to the lions to be devoured before they succeed.

They can never succeed in destroying Edo lands.

Amen

Betrayal. Oshiomole accused him of betrayal I thought he was just a political talk , now he has also betrayed the southern governor forum after attending hbd agreeing to all the resolutions reached. Judas Govenror.

FalseProphet1:
Obaseki has so many skeletons in his cupboard, if he squeezes the neck of Buhari's fulani relatives, his can of worms would be opened by the EFCC and he might be impeached, so his best bet is to delay the implementation of open grazing law until his time elapses in office.

This I have seen.

It is official we don enter one chance for Edo state. This governor is a confirmed nincompoop.

This is return to APC loading at the expense of those who fought tooth and nail for him to become governor. May God answer him with something money cannot buy or cure.

Obaseki is pragmatic. Even in states that have passed anti-grazing law, fulani are still grazing cattle as if the law does not exist. Many people are ignorant of the fact that many of the fulani you see especially in urban areas do not own the cows they grazing. They are hired by big men to look after the animals. In SE an igbo will buy cows and hire a fulani. In SW an original omo oduduwa will do the same. In Abuja a senator or minister will do the same - now you why cows are still seen in Abuja a d nobody get arrested. This is happening all across Nigeria.

We know but let's put the law in place and enforcement is a gradual thing.

We don't want Dan Orbih property in APC. He's an habitual ingrate and can never be trusted. Support Obaseki at your own peril.

I thought Obaseki was a wise person until he started to malfunction like Baba bubu, give them land to ranch in your state then 15yrs later they conquer your state and collect the lands then overthrow the community chairman that’s how Fulani settlement started.

Igbos have poor taste in choice of leaders. They only support idiots, fools and misfits. Look at their Governors, worst in Nigeria.

How many of these state that passed the anti open grazing law are enforcing it?

I saw many cattle still roaming around the street of Port Harcourt everyday and the law was passed here in the state.
Thank ýou my brother.
Its unfortunate we have many illiterates in Nigeria who perhaps claim to be educated.
I have said this thing times without number the issue is not signing the bill but implementation.
There is no way federal government will not come in.
Who are the people to implement it?
The security is in the hands of the federal government.
Nigerians always like easy approach just to be applauded.
Those states that have signed it still have cattle roaming the streets so how far has the signing of the bill done to arrest cattle roaming the street.
Governor Obaseki is a thorough governor who believes in a comprehensive approach not quick fix.

Lol. Where are the "Edo is not Lagos" crew? Tribalistic and bigoted Nigerians always celebrating pyrrhic victories.

Thank goodness this 'tool' left APC to now become one of the worst Governors in Nigeria and biggest waste of space under PDP. Useless saboteur.

Even if you cannot implement ban on open grazing you must still pass it into law via your State legislature to show support for the decision of Southern leaders which is the right one.

Southern leaders are getting braver and more determined to show Buhari he is not God and merely a man of flesh and blood who became President courtesy of all Nigerians and not the North alone.

Yet this shameless Obaseki goes to Aso Rock to suck up to same Buhari wonis insisting on the re-establishment of grazing routes throughout Nigeria. Edo is in big trouble. Another 3 years of this directionless clown.

It is about precedence you myopic person. Will Buhari be there forever?

Inability to enforce open grazing ban is a worldwide shame to Nigeria and not our Governors who chose correctly to ban cattle roaming around on roads, pedestrian accessway and private properties/farms in 2021.

It is Buhari other serious world leaders will be shaking their head at because they see how wholly he has compromised the Nigerian Police force which should be an independent institution not available for partisan commandeering or use by anyone.

Buhari will leave in 2023. Southern leaders are right passing laws banning open grazing, to show to the entire world they are about progressive and modern leadership, even if the compromised police force will not allow/assist them implement it. It is a victory for them that will be sweeter when Buhari leaves.

The fight for freedom does not begin when the door has been opened. It must begin long before that.

You're exactly what you claim others are. You think the Southern Governors are fools passing into law a ban on open grazing they know abuse of power will prevent them implementing?

It is a strategy 'educated illiterates' like you are not clever enough to understand.

How do we go about changing the reality you highlight below if not by showing the dangers of it to the world to then strengthen the case for a decentralized Police force?

The security is in the hands of the federal government.

Gradual restructuring has started. Something people like you will disturb us is the way 24/7. You're just not smart enough to understand how it must be presecuted against a clearly partisan, resitive and Pro-North President who will not be in power forever.

You do not wait for change to arrive before you make the case for it. That is what Southern leaders are doing.
