Following United’s 4-2 loss at the King Power Stadium, there were still cheers for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he walked over to thank them for their support. But, as expectations grow, how long can performances like these be tolerated?

Solskjaer was keen to point out that his goalie is allowed to make saves, but the issue for United is that individual heroics aren’t always enough. De Gea was exactly as good against Leicester, but he still let in four goals.

Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United is the player that has created the most opportunities this season. They have Luke Shaw, the player with the most set-piece goals, and Paul Pogba, the guy with the most assists. They have Cristiano Ronaldo on their team.

After the game, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers stated, “When you play against Manchester United, they have a team full of great players.” It’s still not enough in certain ways.
