Posters For Emeka Ihedioha for Vice President Surface Online (Photos)

Campaign poster of Emeka Ihedioha, former Governor of Imo State who was sacked by the Supreme Court, has emerged online.

The campaign poster poster circulating on social media has Emeka Ihedioha as running mate to his former boss and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, as president.


The sudden appearance of the campaign posters bearing the picture of the former Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, is generating controversy among members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).


The posters which appeared in two different designs with both Tambuwal and Ihedioha, dressed in corporate and traditional attires, claim that only the alliance could rescue Nigeria from the brink of collapse.


This is coming on the heels of the emergence of Emeka Ihedioha’s long time political foe, Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Sam Daddy), as the Southern consensus candidate for the post of National Secretary of the PDP in the upcoming National Congress.

Senator Sam Daddy’s has become a source of debate among political pundits who are predicting that it could mean the end of Ihedioha’s political career.

Senator Anyanwu and Ihedioha has been in a political battle of sorts, with the former taking the latter up to the Supreme Court to contest the results of the PDP governorship primaries between the two in 2019.

Ihedioha who has unsuccessfully contested two times to be Governor of Imo State might be giving up hopes of going back to polls for the office of the Governor.

This would add to the seeming internal crisis rocking the PDP in recent time.

Slogan on the campaign poster reads: “For equity and fairness 2023.”
Meanwhile, the former governor is yet to react to the poster currently trending on social media.

Ihedioha should concentrate on going back to Douglas House Owerri.

Position of the Vice President is reserved for Peter Obi who should succeed Atiku after 8 years.

You don't do politics with emotions, you are always known of taking decisions and think later.
Can you mention one project executed by your lovely PDP for the 16 wasted years in the south east? For more than 24 yrs,why didn't PDP present an Igbo man as their presidential candidate?

As far as politics is concerned, Igbos have no clear cut direction, or agenda in Nigeria
