Fresh facts has emerged as how a one time Military Administrator of Bauchi State and now an Emir in one of the highly respected Emirates from Northern Nigeria is fingered to be behind the Abduction of over 200 FGGC Birnin Yauri Students in Kebbi state.

A source from one of the arrested informants said; "the kidnapping saga was to divert the attention of the general public from Zamfara, to allow the retired army General and his co Illegal gold miners to continue their illegal mining activities."

It was also revealed that the retired Army General brought in some Chinese Nationals, experts inmining to Nigeria to facilitate massive illegal mining between Zamfara and Kebbi State respectively.

Investigations into the matter further revealed that when the Chinese illegal mining expert's team arrived Zamfara State, there was heavy presence of Military formations carrying out special operations to rid Zamfara of bandits, which warranted the decor they made at the FGGC, kidnap.

Investigations also revealed that the Emir of Zuru's son, Barrister Sani Sami, a legal practitioner based in Kaduna was caught during a conversation on plans to divert the attention of the Military operatives who were then carrying out a special operation in Zamfara State.

The source lamented that it was after Barrister Sani Sami visited his father that the unfortunate mass abduction of over 200 Students of FGGC occurred .

It was also learnt that, a leaked information on the abduction saga nearly cost the Emir his seat, when Governor Bagudu of Kebbi State almost dethroned him, if not for the quick intervention of some Northern elders." The source revealed.

It was also revealed that, Barrister Sani Sami was arrested for complicity on the matter and subsequently released after a 6-hour drilling, but was released on the order of his father's accomplice.

The Birnin Yauri abducted Students were to be released last week by their abductors, but Barrister Sani Sami on the order of the General (nameswitheld) insisted that the bandits shouldn't be released until Kebbi State Government pays higher ransom unconditionally to the bandit's leadership of Dogo Gide.

According to Kebbi State monthly security review, it was learnt that Zuru Emirate has the highest cases of armed banditry attacks in the State.
