I wanted to get the postal codes of some states in nigeria (since they had a link)
and i was directed to:

http://www.nigpost.com/postco.htm

However, it gave me an Error msg (404 - In layman's terms, File not Found).

So the next logical step would be to head to the top; http://www.nigpost.com/

It then gave me another error message:

Now here's the main event: Guess where i'm directed to after 10secs?

How can something as big as NIPOST allow this to happen? LET ALONE LEAVE IT LIKE THIS FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE!?!?!?

unfortunately, that is naija govt for you o. Speaking for Akwa Ibom (AK) govt websites, there are many of them I have dug up via google (beyond page 10 of returned results ) that AK citizens both at home and abroad have never heard of.

It's amazing how things work there!

Oh well, hopefully it shall be well one day.

nigpost.com now displays emmh, pornography. More reason why Nigerian government/agency websites should necessarily use .ng domain names.

i also visited the nigerian police site a time ago and on the forum porn sites were listed there!
