If you post regularly on social media or you are a blogger, you will usually see these sets of people commenting on your posts:

1. The direct marketers: These people will advertise one sex enhancement product or cryptocurrency. Some will even invite people to join their societies.

2. The link sharers: These people will drop links to their blogs or pages.

3. The attention seekers: People who discredit your posts to seek attention or traffic to their own profiles/pages.

4. The comedians: These ones are just there in the comment section to entertain others.

5. The fighters: They pick others' comments, abuse them and online fight starts from there. These people are rudely blunt. They sometimes cause online commotion to the extent that others in the comment section will be settling disputes for them. Attention seekers use this strategy as well.

6. The ethnic bigots: These people must find an ethnic group or tribe responsible for any matter raised in your post.

7. The digressors: These ones will suddenly try to change the topic of your post in the comment section.

8. The "likers" and the "reactors": These ones don't have to read or watch your contents before they like or react with emojis. It is part of their online behavior to like and react to every post they come across.

9. The ardent but silent followers

10. The Monitoring 'spirits': These people are usually close to the content creator. They want to monitor your posts. Security agents, lawyers and other agents also monitor posts on popular websites and pages. Some of them will comment only when you eventually make the mistake they have been expecting you to make.

13. The beggars: These people can drop account numbers for Africa. They will beg other people in the comment section to give them money for them to eat dinner.

If you're a regular online content creator, just be ready to see some or all of those types of people regularly and know how to engage, regulate and manage them, as the case may be.
